I really enjoyed knowing and working with Don for more than 7 years and he will always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss him. He was just a super genuine and nice person who no matter how bad it was going for him would always be upbeat and just kept fighting so he could spend more time with his family. He really set a great example how others should live.

I met Don when we worked at Montgomery Ward in the Furniture Merchandising department.
After we left Wards, our paths crossed in various ways. Over the years we became good friends. We took turns turns supporting each other after a job loss, directly through networking, and indirectly through commiserating. He was a quiet guy who loved his family, and took great pride in doing a good job.
He will be missed.
